Visual Arts
Our aim in our visual arts course is to introduce the culture of artistic forms of visual arts and museum awareness to our students and ensure their development in these areas.
In the formatting work, our students have significant gains such as doing pastel,crayon,watercolor, collage and easy printing techniques through individual and group work,recognizing  line, texture, geometric shapes,primary and intermediate colors, stacking, sorting, performing the docking operation, establishing a relationship between different materials, using large-small,thin-thick, long-short elements, expressing thoughts and feelings with the techniques of visual arts.
With the trips we make to museums and art galleries, we aim to make students have an idea about the historical monuments, design the visual arts and share them with their friends.
Students, in the field of  visual arts culture,recognize the nature and the environment they live in and realize their importance by using various techniques they learn. They also start to recognize visual artwork and artists slowly. They find opportunities to develop their imagination, creativity, manual skills and to make comments on different art forms and views.

Coterie of Music
The first objective in the course of music education, is to awaken love towards music in the child, enhance the image of music in the child’s dreamworld, to increase the sense of rhythm and ear sensitivity. Our music lessons, which are made by taking into account the different learning characteristics according to the environmental and individual differences, allow both individual and collective work.
Our Objectives 
•    Enhance the aesthetic aspects through music.
•    Enable them to express their thoughts and feelings through music.
•    Recognize the local, regional, national and international music culture.
•    Vocalize our National Anthem and all others  properly. 
•    Ensure their participation in listening, singing and playing different types of songs both individually and collectively. 

Coterie of Physical Education 
Physical Education ensures the development of physical and mental health in accordance with the basic principles of Ministery of Education. Living according to the rules of human society, respecting human rights, being helpful and honest are all related to being physically and spiritually healthy. 

THE BENEFITS OF SPORTS
The importance of sports from personal aspects
1.    Helps students have advanced bones,muscles and good posture habits  in  good moral dimensions.
2.    Provides cultural tastes and sensibilities.

The importance of sports education for children and youth:

Information Technology 

Computer is one of the most widely used technologies of today. This is a rapidly evolving technology that can not be stopped in our age. It’s one of the most significant tools that is used to reach and use information. We provide our students to become good computer literates, to be able to dominate the technology in the information age, to adapt related software and hardware innovations and utilize them in everyday life. Analytical thinking, problem solving, decision making and creativity are some of our basic principles. 

 

Florya College gives importance to follow developing technologies that change in seconds in the information age. Having a sustainable follow of technology both at home and at school is necessary to gain and use  permanent information.In our school,  USB applications start at 1st grade. USB sticks, which are portable devices, are very suitable for this follow-up. When the applications we teach in computer classes are repeated with these USB sticks, the knowledge consolidates and becomes permanent. Parents can follow the acquisition of the student at home. These USB sticks also enable our parents to see what is done in the computer classes. 

Our Objectives

1.    We provide our students to become good computer literates when they graduate from our school.
2.    Today’s children are interested in visual objects . They like to spend most of their time in front of the computer screen. We aim to have students who can use computers for correct purposes, not students who are only interested in playing games or having difficulties in face to face communication. 
3.    We make them use technology to follow the agenda. 
4.    We teach our primary students Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Access and Adobe Photoshop Programs. Besides these, we also aim them to be able to use database,graphic processing, operating systems, e-mail and do presentations. 
5.    We teach them to do work on Information-Technology, Operating System Windows 7, Outlook Live and Microsoft Internet Explorer which is a  web browser program.
6.    We teach them to design posters on special and important days, make Powerpoint presentations, organise presentation and  writing contests, create projects, make newspapers, brochures and business card templates.
7.    We make our students prepare their own publications in order to motivate them. 
8.    We expect our students to come to a certain level by teaching them how to make barcovisions using Movie Maker, create 3-dimensional objects using sketch up program and doing projects  by using the programs that they have learned. Integrity in other courses is provided in this way.

•    Use various resources to maximum advantage.
